We've had quite the year!! We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you in Puerto Vallarta next April! Children are welcome to join us at all wedding events if they are accompanying you on your trip- please include them in your RSVP if they will be attending.
About Us
Mike and Kelsey first met at Platte Park Brewery. Fortunately it was March Madness season, so Mike had something to do while waiting for Kelsey to arrive after she had contractors unexpectedly arrive at her house that day, causing her to be about 30 minutes behind schedule. In hindsight, she just figured he may as well get used to it from the beginning! Despite the late start, the conversation was good and they agreed to meet up again. It would be awhile though before they were able to get together again, as Kelsey was heading off on a Grand Canyon backpacking adventure with some friends and Mike was off to Asia and then Bon Aire for 3 weeks on a medical mission trip and then a diving excursion. They caught up again to share their stories when they were both back home, and things took off from there.
When asked what caught each other's eye on those first few dates, Mike says that "I could tell Kelsey was a sweetheart." Kelsey had similar things to say about Mike. She could immediately tell he had a heart for service, using his nursing skills to run medical mission trips to rural Vietnam for the past 7 years. Not only did they have their health care background in common, but also shared a love for their families and friends.
It didn't take either of them long to realize that they had found what they both had been looking for in each other. Their relationship took off and right from the beginning it just seemed "right." After a hectic but exciting year of so many life events, they can't wait to continue their future together!
